Please join us for a mid-Advent choral Evensong on Sunday, December 5, at 4 PM. In this darkest time of the year, ancient plainsong melodies and the polyphony of Thomas Tallis will help center us, as we await the coming of Jesus.
With its roots in ancient monastic tradition, we offer this beautiful and meditative early evening service in our Reformed setting. The service is sung mostly by the choir, with the congregation joining in hymns and prayers.
Currently, the city of Philadelphia mandates mask use in indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. For those unable to attend, it will also be live streamed on the church’s website.
